Residential Music Holidays in La Moreau, France

Our residential courses are held at La Moreau, a small hamlet deep

quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

in the heart of the Charente Maritime countryside. Our house and cottages, set in over 3 acres, are surrounded by sunflowers and vines.

You will stay in beautifully restored cottages with modern facilities. With stone walls, exposed beams and polished wood floors the cottages have been restored from the cognac barn and stable to provide high quality holiday accommodation for your perfect musical getaway.

The bedrooms are all shared twin or double. There is a supplement for a single room.
Non participating guests are very welcome.

There are comfortable sitting rooms, with English satellite tv, dvd and radio in each of the cottages as well as fully fitted kitchens (and dishwashers). The cupboard and fridge are stocked with basics and there are tea and coffee making facilities, so you can relax and make a cup of tea or coffee (or snack) if and when you want.

Both the cottages have wood burning stoves and electric radiators upstairs and the study room is also heated.

We can accommodate up to 9 people in shared bedrooms on site. For people wanting a single room, or if we have more than 9 people on the course, we have access to bed and breakfast accommodation, or another cottage  within a couple of minutes’ drive. People who stay off site have full use of the facilities in the cottages.

There is a purpose built music room in the grounds overlooking the swimming pool and olive trees.

We always hope to eat outside under the covered terrace but should the

plenty of time to relax and enjoy the pool

weather be too chilly then the meals are served in our dining room

There is a 10m x 5m swimming pool that you are free to use.

There is a thermal cover and the water temperature is usually warm enough to swim from the end of May until the end of September.
